Consorsbank has introduced a new method for two-step verification via the new Consorsbank app: https://www.consorsbank.de/web/Service-Beratung/Mobile-App/Aktivieren-ohne-App
Once activated, the new app can be used for verifying logins and orders on the web.

Please note: The HBCI system (through which Outbank communicates with the bank), FutureTrader as well as CFD platforms still require the SecurePlus app for verification.
According to the Consorsbank website, two-step verification will be completely switched over to the Consorsbank app as of November 24, 2025.
