Microsoft Excel cannot handle the export format UTF-8 out-of-the-box. Therefore, to open the CSV export from Outbank in Excel, please follow the steps below:
- Start Microsoft Excel and start a new blank workbook
- Click on ‚File‘ > ‚Import‘
- Select ‚CSV file‘ for the file type and click on ‚Import‘
- Select the export CSV file from Outbank in the Finder window and click on ‚Get data
- The Text Import Wizard window will be opened. Under ‚File origin‘ select the option "Unicode (UTF-8)".
If you click on ‚Next‘, you can select other options for reading the file and use the preview to check your Settings.
Click on ‚Finish‘ import the file in the selected form.
