EDEKA Shopping Account in Outbank

You can add your EDEKA shopping account to Outbank to track your purchases directly.

Set up your EDEKA Shopping Account

  1. To set up your EDEKA account, enter the email address you use for the EDEKA app.

  2. You will receive an email from EDEKA. Open it and click the login link.
    Important: If the EDEKA app and the Outbank app are installed on the same device, use the link under “If the login via the link did not work …” to request a login code for manual entry.

  3. Return to the Outbank app and tap 'OK'.

  4. Enter the login code from the EDEKA website to complete the setup.

What is displayed

After setup, two accounts will be created in Outbank:

  • The Receipts account shows your digital receipts as total amounts

  • The Items account displays each purchased item separately

You can choose which view works best for you:
- Hide the Items account if individual items are too detailed.
- Hide the Receipts account if you want a detailed reporting of your spending.

Benefits of having your Shopping Account in your Finance App

  • You save time because you no longer need to manually split transactions from your bank account. Instead, you can assign a category or tag to each individual item directly in the EDEKA Items account, enabling more precise reporting

  • With the Items account, you can follow price changes of individual products over time.

  • For warranty or return cases, you can quickly check when you purchased a specific item, without searching through paper receipts.

Adjusting your Reports

Since the total amount of your purchases is already charged to your bank account, duplicate entries may appear in your reports. We recommend marking the corresponding transactions on your bank account as “Transfers”. Transfers in the book are excluded from the reports by default.
