Offline accounts allow you to incorporate missing assets into your financial overview. They offer the advantage of being independent of any specific bank or financial provider, allowing you to manually record transactions and other assets that are not directly linked to any bank.

Outbank  offers a wide variety of offline account types so you can accurately represent all the assets you own:

• Cash Account: Track your cash expenditures with ease. This account type helps you keep tabs on your cashflow.

• Cryptocurrency: Add your cryptocurrencies as offline accounts to see their current values automatically converted to Euros.

• Precious Metals: Record your gold, silver, platinum and other precious metal assets as offline accounts and keep track of their values.

• Investment Fund: Manage investment funds as separate offline accounts and monitor their performance.

• Loan / Real Estate: Record your real estate as offline accounts to track the current value of your property portfolio.
  Tip: Combine your loan and offline real estate account into one account group to display the total value of the real estate.

• Collectible: Create offline accounts for artworks, watches, cars, or other collectibles to monitor their estimated values.

• Company Shares: Use this offline account typ to track the performance of your corporate or startup equity holdings.

• Foreign Currency: Add your foreign currency assets as offline accounts and use the currency converter to include them in your total asset overview.

• Bank Product: Is your bank not yet supported by Outbank? Add your financial products manually as offline accounts to stay organized.

• Offline Account: Use this account type as a cash  or household book to track your offline expenses.

• Bonus Account: Add your miles and points to get a complete overview of your reward points.

Add a new Offline Account

1. Start the app's setup wizard by selecting '+ NEW' > 'Add Account' on iOS and Android, or 'Options' > 'Add Account' on macOS.

2. Search for 'Offline Account', select it from the Top List or the product groups.

3. Select the offline account type that suits your needs.

4. Enter an account a name and select the preferred currency.

5. If you want, you can specify an initial account balance and activate the currency converter for your foreign currency accounts.

6. Click 'Create Account' to finish setting up the new offline account.

7. Go to the list of accounts, select the new offline account, and add your offline transactions or assets.

You can create as many offline accounts as you need and organize them into account groups according to your preferences. Each offline account type is displayed with an easily recognizable icon in the account list.

Edit Existing Offline Account

1. Select the offline account from the list of accounts.

2. Open the Account Settings: 
   - On iOS, tap on the account name above the transaction list or use the context menu in the account list (long press on the account cell) to open the account settings.
   - On Android, tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the transaction list and select "Settings."
   - On macOS, right-click on the account cell or use a secondary click (e.g., a two-finger click simultaneously). Alternatively, click the button with the account name in the top left corner and select the "Settings" tab.

3. In the account settings, you can change the account details (name, account type, currency) and hide or delete the offline account.

Add new Offline Transactions to an Offline Account

1. To add a new offline transaction, tap on 'New tansaction' on iOS, on '+' (on Android) or click on the '+' button on macOS.

2. Enter the amount, a description/purpose (longer text possible) and select the correct date.

3. Optional: Add tags in order to analyze them along with your other transactions in the reports.

4. If you want to add multiple amounts to one transaction, you can click on the '+' next to the amount.
   Specify positive or negative amounts via the '+/-' button next to the field where you enter the amount.

5. Click on 'Done' to save the offline transaction.
   

Edit existing Offline Transactions:

• Edit Details:
  Select the offline transaction and tap on the fields you want to edit. In the macOs version, click 'Edit' in the footer of the transaction details to make changes.

• Duplicate Offline Transactions:
  Swipe right on the offline transaction (iOS and Android) to duplicate it or open the transaction details and click ‘Duplicate’ in the footer (macOS).

• Delete Offline Transactions:
  To delete a single transaction, swipe left on the desired transaction (iOS and Android). On macOS, use the Delete key on your keyboard or open the context menu with a secondary click and select 'Delete'.

  To delete multiple transactions, go to 'Edit', select the desired transactions, and tap the bin icon in the toolbar at the bottom (iOS and Android). On macOS, select the desired transactions using the Shift or Command key, open the context menu, and select 'Delete', or press the Delete key on your keyboard.
