Since macOS Catalina (version 10.15.0) and Outbank v2.25.3 you can also unlock the Mac app with your Apple Watch. If you have activated the function, you only have to confirm your login in Outbank on the Apple Watch - without having to enter your App password.

Requirements:

• Apple Watch with watchOS 6: Here you can find more information and check the compatibility of your watch.
• Mac with macOS Catalina (from 10.15.0): Here you can find more information about the update and the compatibility of your Mac with Catalina. Unlocking with the watch works with the following Macs:
  • MacBook 2015 or newer
  • MacBook Pro Ende 2013 or newer
  • MacBook Air 2013 or newer
  • Mac mini 2014 or newer
  • iMac 2013 or newer
  • iMac Pro (all models)
  • Mac Pro 2013 or newer
• Outbank on the Mac: The function is available for all macOS versions of Outbank from v2.25.3.

How to activate automatic unlocking:

1. Prepare your Apple Watch and Mac:

• Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the Mac
• Register Mac and Apple Watch with Apple ID using two-factor authentication at iCloud
• Set up a passcode for your Apple Watch

2. Activate the function in the system settings of your Mac:

Apple icon> ‘System settings’> ‘Security’> General ’> Tick‘ Unlock with your Apple Watch apps and your Mac ’

3. Now open the Outbank app on the Mac. A message will now appear on your watch - press the watch's side button twice to unlock Outbank.
