If you have both Apps - OutBank DE (minimum version 1.9.2) and the new Outbank - installed on the same device, you can transfer your data from Outbank DE to the new Outbank as follows:
- Before data transfer, please make sure your OutBank DE login password is at least six digits long.
- If you enter a wrong password, you will have to restart migration.
- If something does not work out properly during migration, you can simply start anew by tapping on "Delete local data" in the settings or by reinstalling the app.
How to do it:
Start the new Outbank and tap on "Let's start". Then tap on "Tap here" where your are asked "OutBank DE user?".
OutBank DE will now open. Log in with your new password (or Touch ID). In a second, you will need the login password again in the new Outbank, which will then be your Outbank master password.
When asked if you want to start the data export from OutBank DE to Outbank, tap on "yes".
You will see a list of apps to choose from. Select the new Outbank logo "Copy to Outbank".
You will now be directed to the new Outbank. Please provide your OutBank DE password now.
Your accounts and transactions will now be exported from OutBank DE to the new Outbank. You will be notified once the export is done. Please, do not interrupt this process. In case you need to interrupt this process, please start anew by reinstalling the new Outbank.
After the migration, you should create a new Outbank ID (menu > settings) so that you can get in touch with our support or use the Secure Sync.
If you still use iOutbank or OutBank 2, please note that the data transfer we described works only from OutBank DE to the new Outbank. If you still use iOutbank or OutBank 2, you will first have to get OutBank DE (for free) in order to switch to the new Outbank. The following support articles describe how that works:
