With the Outbank Widgets you can easily access your account balances, budgets, and savings goals right from your desktop, or from Notification Centre. The widgets provide you with a quick overview of all your essential financial information at a glance.  

Adding Accounts, Budgets, and Savings Goals to the Widgets:  

To activate the Outbank Widgets, you'll need to grant access to the data in the app's settings.  

1. Open the 'Settings' in Outbank.  
2. Select the tab 'Widgets.'  
3. Add the accounts, budgets, and savings goals you want to display in the widgets. 

 If you check 'All', all balances / budgets / savings goals will be added to the Outbank widgets. Newly created accounts, budgets and savings goals will automatically be available for the widgets. 

Afterward, you can add Outbank Widgets to your desktop (*system requirement: macOS Ventura or later) 

Control-click the wallpaper, then choose Edit Widgets. 

1. In the widget gallery, search for Outbank. 
2. Select the Outbank widget you want to add and drag it to any position on your desktop. 
3. Click ‘Done’ at the bottom-right corner of the widget gallery to close the window. 

If you'd like to an Outbank Widget to Notification Centre, follow these steps:  

1. Click the date and time in the menu bar or swipe left with two fingers from the right edge of your trackpad to open Notification Yentre. 
2. At the bottom of Notification Centre, click ‘Edit Widgets’. 
3. In the widget gallery, search for Outbank. 
4. Select the Outbank widget you want to add. 
5. Drag the widget up and down if necessary, in Notification Centre. 
6. Click ‘Done’ at the bottom-right corner of the widget gallery to close the window. 

Important Notes:  

• If you create widgets without granting access to your accounts, budgets, or savings goals in Outbank first, empty widgets will be added. You can click on the empty widgets to open the app settings and grant access to your data.   
• Widgets are not synchronized across devices. You'll need to set up widgets separately on each of your devices.  

Editing Outbank Widgets:  

You can edit your existing Outbank Widgets at any time. For example, when you switch bank accounts or remove outdated budgets and savings goals to show the most up-to-date information.  

1. Open Outbank settings and got to the tab "Widgets."  
2. Choose the widget you want to edit (Balances, Budgets, or Savings Goals) and click on ‘Edit’.  
3. Add the accounts, budgets, or savings goals you want to see in your widget or remove outdated items.  

Easily change the order of displayed accounts, budgets, or savings goals by control-clicking a widget and selecting ‘Edit Outbank’. In Edit mode, you can also specify whether the expected transactions should be displayed on the widget. 

Deleting Outbank Widgets:  

To remove an Outbank Widget, control-click the widget you want to remove and select 'Remove Widget’.
